It’s easy to forget how in-demand T-Pain was at the height of his singing career – “I’m Sprung” was released in 2005, or his ability to make hit music – “All I Do Is Win” was in 2010. These days Tallahassee Pain is known more for his Twitch content and podcast. But he comes back to his roots from time to time.
His latest album, On Top Of The Covers, is unexpected as T-Pain puts his vocal range on full display as he covers classics across multiple genres from Soul, to Rock, and even Country. Here he is his version of “A Change Gonna Come”.
