Wendy Williams has finally had enough.
After years of rumored and confirmed adultary by her husband, Kevin Hunter, the day-time gossip filed for divorce today.
The divorce filing comes on the heals of a troubling period for Williams, who recently returned to host her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, after taking months off to recover from what she said was a fractured shoulder; later telling fans she had checked herself into a sober living facility. Williams has, on occasion, discussed her past addiction to cocaine.
In a statement from Williams’ representative read, “Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time. Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together. No additional comment will be provided at this time.”
In her 2001 memoir Wendy’s Got the Heat, Williams, 54, confirmed Hunter, 46, had cheated on her shortly after giving birth to their son.
Earlier this month it was reported that Hunter’s latest mistress had given birth.
