Trey Songz hit with $10 million lawsuit after woman claim assault at Miami club in 2018

In the era of the #MeTooMovement, there is no shortage of alleged victims that are willing to share stories of mistreatment, abuse, and rape. Singer Trey Songz, real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson, has joined the ranks of celebrities facing consequences for supposed sexual misconduct, after a Georgia woman came forward with accusation of a incident that took place in January of 2018.

According to an unnamed women, Songz invited her to club E11even in Miami after they spent some time at P.Diddy’s New Year’s Eve party. After arriving at the club the alleged victim claims Songz assaulted her in the VIP section of the club.

The lawsuit reads:

“This is a lawsuit arising from a sexual assault and battery committed by NEVERSON upon JANE DOE while the two were partying at the E11even Miami night club (“E11even”) on January 1, 2018. This suit is based on claims of Assault, Battery, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress. Plaintiff is seeking more than Ten Million dollars ($10,000,000.00) in damages.

Shortly after the incident with NEVERSON at E11even JANE DOE discovered that she was not NEVERSON’S only victim at E11even, as another female who was in attendance at the nightclub with the group confided to JANE DOE that NEVERSON had also put his hands down her pants and had placed his fingers into her buttocks without her consent earlier that same night.”

Trey Songz has yet to publicly respond to these allegations.
