Jamaican police arrested reggae singer Luciano on Monday (Mar. 30) after a man named Andrew Senior, a suspect sort in connection with several killings, shot three police officers while hold up in the singer’s Kingston home last week.
The 44-year-old Luciano, born Jepther McClymont, was questioned after the shootings but was not immediately charged.
Luciano was released on bail after being booked on a charge of harboring a fugitive.
The hour-long stand off with Senior end when he was shot dead by police. Two of the officers injured in the incident are still in critical condition, the third was treated and released.
