42-year-old Obie Trice, has been arrested for the shooting of his girlfriends’ 18 year-old son. Trice, a member of the rap group D12, and most known for his affiliation with Eminem, was found shortly after the incident, walking with an unregistered 9mm semi-automatic Ruger.
Trice allegedly threatened to shoot both his girlfriend and her son following an altercation between the couple. The victim attempted to disarm the rapper when the gun discharged hitting him in his groin.
The 18 year-old was hospitalized with a broken pelvis and Obie Trice is being held in Oakland County jail where more charges are expected to be filed.
