A Miami party promoter is gearing up to sue rapper Dababy, for an alleged beating and robbery in Florida last week. The victim only known as “Kenneth”, says that multiple lawyers have reached out to him in regard to the incident that left him with bruises and cuts to his face. He also says that he was robbed of $20k during the incident.
Kenneth says that he made a deal with Dababy to perform at a birthday party for another rapper in a Florida nightclub. He says that they agreed to a discounted rate of $30k but that he showed up with only $20k. He promised to get the remaining fee, but says that the situation turned violent quickly. Video footage has surfaced of a man on the ground being beaten by multiple men. Initial reports stated that the men seen in the video were Dababy and his crew who beat the man, taking a credit card, $80 in cash, an Iphone 7 and poured apple juice on him.
Dababy was arrested for battery in connection to the attack. Prosecutors say robbery charges will likely be added later. The rapper also had an outstanding warrant in Dallas, TX for organized criminal activity. The charge stems from a fight at the airport last month, where Dababy and another man allegedly attacked a food stand employee. He has since been released from custody.
