Troubled singer Chris Brown pled not guilty to beating his girlfriend Rihanna yesterday (April 6) before a judge in Los Angeles.
The 19-year-old up-until-now popular Pop singer was arraigned on charges of assault likely to cause great bodily harm and making criminal threats. It’s believed he’s likely to accept a plea deal from prosecutors that would have him serve at least 30 days in jail and some probation time, though no official offer has been made public.
Outside the courtroom the attorney, for Brown’s victim-girlfriend Rihanna told reports his client was fully prepared and will to testify against Brown if called upon, “Nothing’s changed with regard to Rihanna’s stance toward this case … She will testify if subpoenaed and will do everything that’s required of her to do.”
