August Alsina breaks code; spills alleged Will, Jada secrets that should be kept behind closed doors

Rumors have circulated for years that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have an open marriage but did someone finally confirm the rumors?

In a sit-down interview with Breakfast Club‘s Angela Yee, singer August Alsina let the beans spill on his relationship with Pinkett-Smith. Shockingly, Alsina tells Yee, Will was ok with it. “He gave me his blessing,” said Alsina, adding, “I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her,”

It had been rumored that Alsina’s 2019 song “Nunya” is about his relationship with Pinkett-Smith. In it he sings:

“You got me feeling like it was an act, you’re just an actress /
Putting on a show ’cause you don’t want the world to know.”

According to Alsina, the alleged years-long affair — is it an affair if everyone’s cool with it? — began five years ago. There are a number of photos floating around the internet of Pinkett-Smith and Alsina looking very cozy. But that isn’t confirmation of an intimate relationship. And Pinkett-Smith’s reps have denied the rumors, calling Alsina’s claims, “absolutely not true!!!”

Meanwhile, some people are questioning the motives behind Alsina’s public confession. The interview with Yee was to promote Alsina’s album, The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy; the interview with Yee was released by Alsina on his YouTube channel, and some have remarked that he maybe using the lure of Will and Jada’s sex life to gin up publicity for his album.

Alsina comes across as sincere in the interview. The real question is, does he have the receipts to back him up, because if he doesn’t, these are just more Hollywood rumors.
