Signer Alicia Keys gave birth to a baby boy Thursday night (Oct. 14) in New York.
The child is the first for Keys, 29, and her husband, 31-year-old producer Swizz Beatz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean. The couple tied the knot over 2 months ago.
A representative for Keys said the couple have named their son Egypt Dean. It’s the first child for Keys and the fourth for Beatz.
Beatz took to Twitter on Friday to express his joy: “I’m so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww!
