Amy Winehouse is one more overdose away from death. That’s the conclusion of doctor’s who also say the troubled singer may have suffered some brain damage caused by her two previous drug overdoses.
The Daily Mail posted a report about the toll the overdoses have taken on Ms. Winehouse’s mental and physical health, claiming she was advised to seek psychiatric treatment “after displaying ‘multiple personality traits’ that made her a suicide risk.”
Ms. Winehouse suffered her first overdose in August of 2007 after she went on a crystal meth/E/heroin/cocaine/ketamine bender. And according to a friend, Ms. Winehouse’s second overdose occurred in July of this year when she was rushed to the hospital for what her father described as “a bad reaction” to medication. The truth, the friend tells the Daily Mail, is that Ms. Winehouse smoked an ‘inhuman’ amount of hash that left her vomiting uncontrollably and hallucinating.
“Mitch does everything he can to protect his daughter – but his explanation for Amy’s hospital dash in July was just simply untrue”.
Ms. Winehouse is now facing a lawsuit after she cancelled her appearance at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris two hours before she was scheduled to perform because of an undisclosed illness.
