There’s a chance you may see Laurence Fishburne on the boob tube on a regular basis. “The Matrix” star is in negotiations to replace William Petersen on the hit drama “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” when he makes his departure from the show.
If all goes well, Mr. Fishburne would play a as-yet-unnamed character described as a doctor/scientist who has the same genetic profile as a serial killer.
John Malkovich and Kurt Russell have also been named as possible replacement, but Mr. Fishburne remains producers’ top choice.
