Jeffrey Wright and Josh Brolin were involved in an early morning bar fight in Shreveport, Louisiana and subsequently arrested.
The two actors are shooting on location in Shreveport for Oliver Stone’s forthcoming George W. Bush film W, in which Mr. Wright stars as General Colin Powell. According to the Shreveport Times the trouble started just after 2 a.m. when officers arrived at the Stray Cat bar, responding to a disturbance call. Mr. Wright and Mr. Brolin, along with and two others were arrested for allegedly interfering with police, a misdemeanor. A fifth man, who is also part of the W crew, was booked on resisting arrest and public intoxication among other charges.
Mr. Brolin, who portrays President George W. Bush in the film, posted $334 bond after being processed at the city jail. No information was available on Mr. Wright or the status of the other individuals.
