Oscar winning actor Jamie Foxx has been cast alongside Gerard Butler (star of 2006’s “300“) in the F. Gary Gray directed “Law Abiding Citizen.”
The thriller, which began filming on January 21 in Philadelphia and is scheduled for a 2010 widescreen release, centers on a grieving widower (Butler) who targets the prosecutor (Foxx) whose plea deal allowed the killer of his family to walk free.
The cast also includes the recently Oscar nominated Viola Davis and Regina King.
