Actor Dolph Lundgren’s wife, Anette, got the scare of her life when masked gunmen invaded the couple’s Marbella, Spain home in search of cash and jewelry.
Lundgren, who’s most remembered for his role as a Russian boxer Ivan Drago in 1985’s “Rocky IV” opposite Sylvester Stallone, was not home at the time of the burglary. British newspaper The Daily Mail reports that the robbers managed to get an undisclosed amount of cash and valuables before realizing the home they were in belonged to the star and fleeing. A source tells the paper, “Things might have turned out very differently if Dolph had been in. The criminals fled as soon as they realized the owner of the house they had raided was someone they wouldn’t want to come up against in a fight. They left Anette pretty traumatized. She’s Dolph’s angel and anyone who messes with her is messing with him.”
Along with his Rocky credit, Lundgren also starred as He-Man in 1987’s “Masters of the Universe,” as Frank Castle in the original “Punisher” movie with Louis Gossett Jr., and alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in 1992’s “Universal Soldier.”
