Alec Baldwin was taken to a hospital via ambulance after his daughter placed a frantic call to 911 fearing her father had taken an undisclosed amount of pills.
A police spokesperson said Baldwin and his daughter Ireland had argued and she told 911 he had threatened to take pills.
The 51-year-old star of the hit show 30 Rock was in an ‘unresponsive’ state when paramedics took him to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
Baldwin was held at the hospital for an hour for observation before being released shortly after 1 a.m. this morning, doctors also ordered him to stay awake for the time being.
A spokesperson for Baldwin said in a statement: “This was a misunderstanding on one person’s part… Alec was quickly released from the hospital he’s completely fine and will be at work today.”
