Bill Cosby defended himself against allegations by Terrence Howard that the Cosby Show star had him blacklisted after a confrontation early in his career.

Eurweb reports that Mr. Cosby called them to straighten out the facts, saying:

“There’s no person that I know of that I’ve ever felt strongly enough to call – even [to] the Hughes Moss people – and say, ‘If this guy calls, don’t book him again… And I don’t like what’s out there because I think with today’s media, there’s a ton of life a piece can have.”

Earlier this month Mr. Howard told the news site, WENN, that his acting career was stalled for four years after he, then 19, demanded answers from Mr. Cosby as to why a scene he had filmed for the Cosby Show was cut, “I told him, ‘I’m a man just like you.’ He didn’t like it, and the casting agent [Hughes Moss Casting] never took my calls again.”
